BANNERS
Reuseable cloth banners, such as this one for the CMJ Music Festival, are made of vinyl fabric reinforced with a nylon webbing, with hemmed edges and grommets at the corners. The fabric is available in a variety of colors, and vinyl graphics are applied to one or both sides.
More economical Tyvek banners are often used for parades like these we made for the Gay Pride March in New York. Tyvek is an untearable paper (like Fedex envelopes are made of) and is very durable and lightweight. Poles are attached to the top for easy carrying.
We were proud and happy to replace the TOILET BOYS' stage banner for their tour of Germany and Japan. Here it is at Webster Hall.
